1. Introduction
Welcome to The Game of Satoshi (TGOS) — a global, educational Bitcoin adventure combining storytelling, hidden clues, and real BTC rewards.
Every mission challenges your mind and speed. TGOS rewards knowledge, precision, and integrity — not luck.
By joining, you agree to these Rules and commit to fair play.
2. Eligibility
- Everyone can play TGOS, regardless of country.
- BTC payouts are only sent to players 18 years or older.
- If the winner is under 18, BTC may be paid to a verified parent or guardian with consent.
- If the winner is under 18, BTC may be paid to a verified parent or guardian with consent.
- Some jurisdictions require KYC/ID verification for larger payouts. TGOS will handle these individually.
- TGOS reserves the right to restrict or verify participation in specific countries if required by law.
3. Accounts & Identity
- One person = one account. Multiple accounts or shared logins are not allowed.
- Using one account to “test answers” for another is considered cheating.
- If detected, a 21 000 second time penalty will be applied (see Section 6).
- Keep your account secure; lost access must be reported to info@thegameofsatoshi.com.
4. How to Play
- Each episode contains a mission with:
- Clues, quiz, and challenge components.
- Hidden parts that become important during the Elimination Week.
- Players submit answers through the TGOS platform.
- Scoring is based on speed + accuracy — the lower your score, the better.
- Points accumulate across episodes, and final rankings are set after all missions conclude.
- Each mission allows a limited number of quiz and position attempts.
- Accuracy matters as much as speed — wasted tries can cost your rank.
5. Scoring
Each player’s score is based on time and accuracy.
Timer: The timer starts the moment you begin the quiz and runs until you submit the final position of the secret word.
Formula: Final Score = (Total Time + Penalty Seconds)
Lower = better.
⚠️ Attempts:
- Each player has 50 attempts to complete the quiz.
- Each player has 24 attempts to submit the correct word position.
Use them wisely — once all attempts are used, no further submissions will be accepted for that mission.
Penalties: Incorrect answers or wrong word positions add penalty seconds to your total time.
Tiebreaker: If two players have the same score, the one who submitted earlier ranks higher
6. Cheating, Fair Play & Penalties
Cheating includes, but is not limited to:
- Multi-accounting or using others’ accounts.
- Bots, scripts, or automation tools.
- Sharing or trading answers in real time.
- Exploiting bugs or manipulating results.
Penalty System
- Detected cheating → 21,000 seconds penalty on total score.
- “Shame on You” badge automatically added to the account.
- No bans are issued, but repeated abuse may result in removal if required by law.
- TGOS will not reveal detection methods — all actions are logged internally.
7. Badges & Status System
Throughout the season, players earn badges to reflect milestones and engagement.
Types of Badges:
Status Badges: unlocked naturally during the season (e.g., progress, missions completed). These are purely visual — they do not affect rankings.

- Referral Badges (Orange Pill Series):
- Invite 3 friends → Orange Pill Started – 60 second
- Invite 10 friends → Orange Pill Master – 180 second
- Invite 21 friends → Orange Pill Legend – 360 second

Condition: Each invited player must finish the first 12-week stage.
Reward: Qualified referral badges reduce total time, improving your leaderboard score.
TGOS may add more badges or mechanics over time. All updates will be announced publicly.
All badge data and historical progress are securely stored in TGOS databases for verification and future seasons.
8. Country Selection & Verification
- On sign-up, players must select the country they represent.
- The country can be changed only once during the season.
- Players must choose their real country of origin, not a random one.
- If only one player represents a country, TGOS may request proof of nationality or residence to ensure legitimacy.
- Falsifying country data can lead to penalties or disqualification.
9. Rewards, Prize Pool & Payouts
The Game of Satoshi (TGOS) combines education, competition, and real Bitcoin rewards.
Rewards are based on knowledge, precision, and speed — not luck or spending.
All BTC rewards will be distributed after the entire season concludes, which includes:
- 12 Episodes
- 12 Missions
- Elimination Week
- The Grand Final on January 17th, 2026
Until that time, any balance you see in your dashboard may temporarily display “0” — this simply means:
You haven’t completed the latest mission yet, or you’re not among the first 5,000 eligible players for this round.
Once your progress is verified, your rewards will update automatically.
Distribution:
- 1st Place → 20 % of pot
- 2nd Place → 10 %
- 3rd Place → 5 %
- 4-10 Players → 15 % shared
- Ranks 11–1 000 → 30 % distributed in tiers
- Ranks 1 001–5 000 → 20 % distributed as smaller sats prizes
To be eligible for rewards, players must:
✅ Complete all 12 episodes and missions
✅ Find all hidden clues
✅ Stay within the top 5,000 players (or higher tier if more BTC is funded)
Balances showing “0” do not mean disqualification — only that your clue or eligibility for this phase isn’t yet confirmed.
10. KYC, Taxes & Compliance
- TGOS may require KYC for winners above legal thresholds or when required by law.
- Players are responsible for declaring and paying any local taxes on rewards.
- TGOS complies with applicable reporting obligations and reserves the right to hold payouts until verification is complete.

- Data is stored securely and never sold.
- Limited data may be shared with payout or legal partners as needed for compliance.
- A detailed privacy policy is available on the TGOS website.
12. Dispute Resolution & Appeals
- Appeals must be emailed to info@thegameofsatoshi.com within 14 days of the final leaderboard publication.
- Include your username, explanation, and supporting evidence.
- TGOS will review all appeals fairly and respond in a timely manner.
- All final decisions rest with TGOS.
13. Rule Updates
- TGOS may update rules to improve fairness or gameplay.
